The house at No 5 Askernish is situated about three hundred metres from the club house, which makes it the perfect base for that early morning round before setting off to see the rest of the island Ð or even before breakfast! Membership of the local angling club is complimentary with the let.
A caddy with intimate knowledge of the course, island history, and local gossip can be supplied. Car hire from both ferry terminals and airport can be arranged, this can also be arranged for those who would like to fly in to the Hebrides by way of the airport on the cockle beach in Barra before travelling across the Sound to Uist.
The house can comfortably sleep up to 7 people; a cot and high chair are also supplied. All linen and towels are supplied. A starter pack of essential groceries is supplied. Heating is through a combination of solid fuel stove and storage heaters, house let includes fuel and electricity.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all usual appliances and utensils. Pets are welcome, but we would always expect owners to respect the property. From £380.00 per week. Letting period is from Saturday to Saturday.
